We got started this generation on a bad foot because COVID hampered development to start the generation which I think resulted in a longer than expected period of cross-gen games and then these companies trying to make as much money as possible contributed to it as well.

The gaming space is in an interesting place. I feel like there are too many great games to keep up with, both big and small, yet these companies are expecting them to print money so they’re starting to branch out from exclusivity and putting games on PC. I’m not complaining but it’s weird to see.

I agree with this sentiment. I have an Xbox Series X and S and I’ve been happy with the games I’ve been able to play. In fact, there are too many great games to keep up with. Hence why I was surprised to hear what they said about PS5 as my good buddy has been happy with his.
