The system is very broken.

There shouldn't be billionaires either. No one is working THAT hard. They're depriving staff of decent pay and benefits to put that money into the hands of a select few, generally people who already don't work three jobs just to eat and have a roof over their head.

Wikipedia has put out a comprehensive list of how to spot AI writing (for now). Keep in mind, humans naturally do many of these, so watch for multiple instances of many of these before jumping to conclusions

Geez, popped onto my old X (Twitter) account just to see if things are still a bit of a ghost town over there. I had 20,000 followers over there before Elon got his hands on it. Just wanted to see.

You have no idea how many times people have asked me why I don't do full hair and makeup every day. Normally I spend 10-15 minutes getting ready then am out the door. I look put together enough.

I have ZERO desire to spend ridiculous amounts of time making people think I look like someone I'm not

Not yet. Currently focusing on my @descriptionary.bsky.social site while I wait. When it comes down to it though, I'll be super happy for that "artist" part of me too. 🙂

Right now, it's all fairly casual until I have to start seriously marketing.

But, for now, I'm off to the gym!

Currently have my biggest project sitting with an agent and with a publisher to see if they'll bite. Not a forgiving industry! However, I'm also considering self-publishing. I actually have a strong marketing and communications background, which help with that sort of thing.

I've been interested in it my whole life, along with most arts. Started writing novels at 12! I love creativity and creating, although it's a hell of a field to be in. But, most of my professional work has been corporate or educational. Definitely not the same even when it creative stuff!

For every one thing I like about AI, there are 2-3 things about it that I don't. Using AI to replace actors or other creatives ... yeah ... no thanks. Also, they already have enough issues getting mouths, movement, and gravity to work properly in CGI.
