bluesky is just twitter but i can actually see the stuff my friends make

I think what happened is that early on, people tried doing that, but it just didn't work because Bluesky gives users a lot more control over what you want to see. And blocking/muting people actually tends to stop the algorithm from recommending you stuff like it in the future.

As an added bonus, bluesky doesn't kill my posts if I draw something other than ass or link to a website outside of bluesky.

Like holy shit, it's so annoying to have to tip toe around twitter's algorithm to do anything??

I don't think bluesky is perfect, but I definitively prefer the quieter nature of it.

I feel like I can't scroll on twitter without seeing the occassional hate speech or ai art

i think its weird that twitter users complain that bluesky is more quiet

like the whole reason i moved over here was because 90% of twitter is people ragebaiting and sending hate to others constantly

while over here, i see cool art and nice people
