My work is all mass-level, so I don't classify individuals as CN unless they self label, or answer @prri.org's 5-question CN battery for me. But, many individuals use Christian nationalist rhetoric, in all sorts of ways. We never know if "CN talk" reflects values or simple means to political ends.

• 67% of Americans now support same-sex marriage, up from 54% in 2014
• Democratic support has risen to 83%—an 18-point increase since 2014
• Half of Republicans (50%) now support same-sex marriage, a notable shift from 35% a decade ago

NEW from PRRI: Based on interviews with more than 22,000 adults throughout 2024, PRRI finds a strong correlation between support for Christian nationalism and voting for Trump in 2024.

Overall, three in ten Americans qualify as Christian nationalism Adherents (10%) or Sympathizers (20%).
