I wasn't exactly the pinnacle of health when I was in high school though. I'm 37 and have had arthritis in both of my knees for 25 years. Good news was it wasn't horrible then and it's manageable now.

I had a buddy of mine in high school when we playing football (the American one) in gym class pick me up (I was exactly or pretty close to what I am now: 6'4" and 285 lbs) and slam me back down on the grass. I was sore for the next 36 hours. He felt horrible about it but it was what it was.

KD isn't a bad player by any means. He's just missing something that has kept him from winning more often. Don't know if it's his attitude, lack of a killer instinct, or what. Having the one ring though is cool. There are legends who never won one.

That friend was basically like my little brother. He died in a car crash himself a few months later. Our last conversation was an argument about the girl he was with in that crash. She died too. In a way it haunts me that they are both gone because maybe I would have been published had they lived.

See, I'm old school. Pencil and paper writing but yeah, I have a few that I like but none that are close to good enough. I hope someday I'll get over it but it's been 17 years since I started my first project (one of them that I like) but it bothers me too because a friend asked me to do it. (1/2)
