Wolverine looks vicious and intense just as I hoped. Excited to see how they make Wolverine feel uniquely different from the Spidermen. Can’t help but be worried about the story. SM2 was a total mess and really nobody came out of it better. Logan is way more complex than any of those characters.

#Avowed may have the largest discrepancy based on how much you put into it I’ve ever seen before. Rush through the game and it comes across as underbaked but if you spend time to do as much and interact with the cast as much as possible it’s maybe one the best RPGs ever. Big payoff at the end.

If you’re not clicking with the companions in #Avowed I HIGHLY recommend sitting down in camp and just listening to them chat for 15-30mins. Obsidian really let their characters come to life in these interactions and I’ve fallen in love with them just sitting and enjoying their company.

The Game Awards would really benefit from just having a “Best DLC/Expansion” and “Best Remake” categories. Looking back on the last 5 years there are plenty of games that would have filled out these categories they’d have been able to still be interesting. And the actual GOTY would benefit.

I had low expectations for the game awards but holy shit. Omitting great games like Infinite Wealth to put in a DLC is rough. Also Black Myth Wukong is the lowest scoring game since 2017 to get a nom. It is currently the 110th best game on opencritic. It’s just there to generate buzz. Awful picks.
