I like the contemporary room at the National Portrait Gallery, or as I call it, "The People who've Blocked Me on Twitter Gallery"

This isn't strictly a new faction, but it does tell you precisely who makes up one of them

I note it is not in the report, and it doesn't pass even the very faintest sniff test

The last of those stats cannot be true unless some very exotic definitions are used

Chantal Biya long on my radar for serving looks, notably including a dubious suggestion of the privilège du blanc when meeting the late pope

MAÏLLIW, an affordable curtain system that never looks as sleek as in the shop, but with a great range of colours.

One, which didn't cover this but I know it's not my original observation...

I've never seen a story in a local paper about planning permission for example that wasn't reported from a NIMBY perspective, frankly

Elective absolute monarchy, you love to see it

The press should be doorstepping the people who funded these repeated complaints and lawsuits. Make them explain themselves

I look more closely and they are branded buttons, but with a tiny inset cc in the mother of pearl. Nice.

From the re-see today, the detail is incredible. Tweed becoming beading, fabric to look like feathers, knotted plaid, unbranded buttons!

Two things missed: severity, and fun. The interplay of these two was where Lagerfeld's perfect pitch served Chanel so well. But this is a first collection that will sell, from a great designer who is in it for the long haul and will settle into the Chanelness. Hints from the deconstructed 2.55...

Just more lovely texture, and prettiness. Not much to add, they're damn nice clothes.

There have been others doing it too. Attempts to revive the skinny jean look abortive but this may well happen. Brace for impact

Evening, flou: very beautiful and relaxed as Chanel should be. Clothes for grown women, in the best manner. Texture almost boring after a week of texture-for-shape but Blazy is kind of the reason everyone does that now and he's so good at it.

The Tweed Suit: or just the suit. A strong area for him and I love the low waist, but we'll assume they're lined and a little higher for retail. Emphasising the check and crisper, exquisite fabrics. The styling perhaps packs lightness. Colours, less pastel-and-black and more earthy, red, work.

It's the big one: Chanel. Firstly, great to see a properly lavish and theatrical show after a week of tastefully daylit minimalism. Mathieu Blazy bringing a lot of himself and his Bottega Veneta time to Chanel, but I think it's pretty lovely and still pretty Chanel.

To be fair the poor lamb is American so effectively only knew fake cheese before.

Yeah when I could still eat pulses I had lots of vegan days and never felt the urge to eat fake cheese?
showerabsolute.bsky.social
I genuinely think he name searched vegan cheese
