sometimes drawing feels like a game, where you know you haven't reached max quality for this drawing yet, but you know that you spent all your points and can't continue

I want to make own original characters to draw but it's pretty hard to come up with something that seems good enough

hey people, what does lead you into coming up with an OC? and how do you make the idea into an OC after that?

if there are any musicians reading this, is there a way to solve this problem?
the problem: when I'm composing, it often feels like I just put random notes next to each other. I don't feel any solid structure behind the music I compose.

I used to mostly draw things, but right now I'm focused on developing a vertical STG Rainchaser!
