Theology, Prince, protest music. Opinions my own.
It was well done overall, although it would have benefited from a better storyline with an unforeseen twist. I found it a bit predictable. But I did enjoy & appreciate it.

The most accurate legal and descriptive terms depend on the specific actions involved, but they would include: deportation, expulsion, persecution, crimes against humanity, and in extreme cases, genocide. None of these require euphemistic softening." (End thread)

"Remigration" is an even softer euphemism, suggesting a voluntary return to an origin, when the policies it describes typically involve forcing people to leave their homes and communities, often places where they were born and have lived for generations.

The reason "ethnic cleansing" became widely used is precisely because it sanitizes what are often crimes against humanity - including murder, rape, torture, and forced displacement. The term makes these acts sound almost administrative or hygienic rather than violent and criminal.

**Mass expulsion** is another direct term.

**Genocide** - when the actions involve killing members of the group or creating conditions intended to destroy the group in whole or in part (as defined by the UN Genocide Convention).

**Forced deportation** or **forced population transfer** - when we're talking about the systematic removal of an ethnic, racial, or religious group from a territory through coercion.
