Small world! I was sous chef at the Fawnbrook Inn summer '89 & lived in the cabin next door. Formative experiences. Hermann offered to sell me the restaurant, but I had a job offer teaching skiing at Deer Valley. He was writing a cookbook, if you're interested, here's a link
