It was just horrible.To find out later that they were scarfing wine, shagging on the photocopier and having karaoke IN DOWNING STREET while we couldn't even sing a bloody hymn or give a comforting hug felt like being spat at. The contempt that behaviour showed to every British citizen disgusts me.

I'm still too scared to look at the various dates because I know I'd feel murderous in your shoes! In 2020 my dad went into hospital on the 14th of August. He died on the 6th of October. My uncle died on the 4th of October, suddenly. Their funerals were the 19th & 27th October & they were torture.

Funnily enough I (also Scottish) was thinking on Friday, when @mrjamesob.bsky.social was saying that Farage tries to be like Trump but isn't very good at it, that it's because Trump is nuts & genuinely believes he's a demigod, while Farage knows that ultimately he's an inadequate nasty little turd.

My nasturtiums were flowering until the frosts got really hard at night, about a fortnight ago! Haven't seen a soul on my bird feeder this year either. It really worries me.
