1/ It looks like something from a galaxy far, far away, but this is the Harvest Moon rising over Titterstone Clee. The sky was a vivid blend of pink and purple, contrasting with the cool tones of the radar dome below. I had reached the summit with plenty of time to spare and... #Shropshire

2/ sat down on a rock, gazing out across the landscape as I listened to the crows calling overhead. After a while the moon appeared and this was the result - well worth the wait.

1/ Honestly, the traffic on #Shropshire's footpaths these days! I couldn’t help but smile when I encountered a local resident along the Severn Way, near Bridgnorth. This friendly cow stopped to stare at me but slowly ambled off as I climbed over the stile and headed out into the morning sunshine.

This image is part of a pack of five greetings cards aimed at walkers in Shropshire. The other cards feature scenes near Brown Clee, Ludlow, All Stretton and Bromlow Callow. www.shropshireandbeyond.com/photos/shop/...

1/ Vivid autumn colour lights up the slopes of the Lawley, near Church Stretton. I was standing on the northern edge of the hill for this shot, watched by a curious sheep as I set up my camera and tripod. #Shropshire

2/ Shorter days and colder temperatures are definitely on the way, but there’s still plenty of time to enjoy the Shropshire sunshine. See if you can spot the walkers heading back down from the summit on the right of the picture.

1/ What a sunset - a magical light fills the sky above the Clun Valley following a shower of rain. It was a real bonus when a rainbow appeared near Corndon Hill, but the sheep were totally oblivious to the drama overhead and just carried on with the serious business of eating. #Shropshire

2/ The Stiperstones can be seen in the middle of the horizon, while the Long Mynd stretches away to the right. I was standing near Newcastle on Clun for this shot, and it was the perfect end to a long day out with my camera.

1/ How’s this for a view - sunrise from the summit of the Wrekin, with a sea of mist stretching as far as the eye can see. If you look carefully you can pick out the church at Wrockwardine in the foreground, with its tower glowing a warm red in the early-morning sunshine. #Shropshire

2/ I love how the colour contrasts with the cool blue beyond it, turning the landscape into something quite magical.

1/ How I love an inviting stile - and when it’s in front of a good view then it’s even better! I came across this stile beneath Caradoc at Church Stretton, with the Lawley rising in the distance. As I headed over I could see buzzards circling above me, their calls accompanied by... #Shropshire

2/ the crunching sound of crab apples beneath my boots. I had to wait an hour for the sun to move out from behind a tree, but I got my picture in the end.

I waited on Whitcliffe Common for the sun to come up over Ludlow and I managed to capture a hint of sunlight on the castle as it emerged from the early-morning mist. And yes - I purposely lined up the castle chimney in the centre of the shot with the masts on Brown Clee in the distance. #Shropshire

1/ It was one of those days - I had been chasing mist all over south #Shropshire and was getting absolutely nowhere. I started off on the Stiperstones at sunrise, followed by the Long Mynd and then Titterstone Clee, but despite the forecast there was no mist to be seen anywhere.

2/ I had already decided to give up and head for home when I came across this magical view on the lower slopes of Brown Clee, not far from Cleobury North. Wisps of mist were swirling around the trees and fields, making the landscape look like something out of a watercolour painting. Result!
