It's unfortunate that you lack the ability to conduct a respectful conversation with someone without resorting to ad hominem.

Just like how the liberals hate people who abuse drugs so they encourage the drug use by opening up safe injection sites? It's all a matter of perspective and saying something like "hate" is not a very solid answer.

Bro has actually never seen meme captions before lmfao
March 7, 2025 at 9:28 PM
Ad hominem lmfao
March 7, 2025 at 6:13 PM
Ah, so you admit your argument was fallacious and just don’t care? Got it. At least that clears things up.

He's voted for policies such as: tying federal funding to housing targets, selling off federal land for housing development, and easing zoning restrictions to name a few.
March 7, 2025 at 6:04 PM
Poilievre was the Minister of Employment and Social Development for about nine months in 2015, not a long enough time to overhaul housing policy. Large-scale housing development typically takes years to show results.
March 7, 2025 at 6:04 PM
That is entirely full of logical fallacies as I have pointed out and is not a proper argument. Btw nice ad hominem (though again you should try something different it's getting stale).
March 7, 2025 at 5:05 PM
Your statement might have been about campaigns but you did not address the fallacies in your statement.
March 7, 2025 at 4:46 PM
Btw, congrats on using two new fallacies in that reply (Straw Man and Red Herring)! Though reusing and hominem is a bit lazy, perhaps try incorporating another fallacy instead or perhaps writing an actual valid argument.
March 7, 2025 at 4:32 PM
Whether campaigns are won through logical arguments or not is irrelevant to whether your statement contained logical fallacies. Instead of addressing that, you've resorted to insults and dodging the issue. If you actually believe your claim is defensible, feel free to back it up with reasoning.

I think the polls are overcompensating a little. Carney at the helm would certainly attract some support, but I still feel there's a lot of fatigue with the Liberal Party. The pendulum has to swing, so to speak.
March 7, 2025 at 3:33 PM
There are still multiple reasons for why a person would vote conservative such as:
- The Housing Plan
- The Pipeline/Resources Plan
- The Harsher Sentencing Plan
To name a few!
March 7, 2025 at 3:29 PM
Here are all the logical fallacies in that comment:
-Guilt by Association
-Hasty Generalisation
-Ad Hominem
-False Dilemma
-Begging the Question
-Appeal to Emotion

I don't care if you're a liberal but like, at least try to present a valid argument
March 7, 2025 at 3:19 PM
No carbon tax
March 6, 2025 at 4:07 PM
Tbh it was sort of the same for the liberals but yeah this poll is probably a little presumptive
March 4, 2025 at 11:52 PM
Prove it
March 3, 2025 at 5:19 AM
Bruh, they most certainly are not
March 1, 2025 at 9:25 PM
Personally either cons or ndp
March 1, 2025 at 8:02 PM
That is a gross hasty generalisation
March 1, 2025 at 8:01 PM
I guess it's also my opinion that the tariffs aren't the most important issue in Canada. I feel like PP is a jack of all trades considering that he's a career politician who has served as a government minister
February 26, 2025 at 8:22 PM
Yeah I'm not a fan of those endorsements tbh but I hope it ends up being something similar to how trump has endorsed the CDU in Germany even though they're staunchly against him. PP isn't just standing firm though, he's for retaliating with dollar for dollar tariffs
February 26, 2025 at 8:20 PM
I'll concede that Carney has economics experience but I disagree that PP has been weak against trump. PP has stood pretty firm in his statements against trump. In addition, I feel as though economics experience isn't enough to justify his bid for PM, at least in my opinion
February 26, 2025 at 3:49 PM
To my knowledge, as far as the 08 recession is concerned, he just upheld historical banking policies, which I guess could be called the right thing to do. I appreciate your reply btw! As far as policies are concerned, I still feel like PP has some good ideas though
February 26, 2025 at 3:44 PM
Gotta ask, why? I've heard some of Carney's ideas but I don't get what about them makes him the best candidate. I had the intention of voting conservative for the last year so I'm curious what the liberals are offering
