In love with this mug that just came out of the kiln. It's one of my favorite things that I've ever made. 😍

The whole load was full of similar experiments and pretty much all of them came out amazingly well. More in the works like this and coming soon!

Opened the kiln this morning, and am thrilled with the test mugs I glazed. They're not identical or particularly neat, but for bringing an initial design idea to life they did the trick! #pottery

Glazing day! And yes, that is our crazy aloe plant in the background. It went a little nuts last summer and took on a whole new phase of existence. It might need a name at this point. #pottery #aloe

To dig into some happier memories, here's a cheerful throwback photo of some of my earliest carved mugs. I've been drawn more recently towards earthier colors and my forms have evolved quite a lot since then, but I do love these. Maybe I'll have to do a present-day take at some point. #pottery

Mostly I throw and make functional things. Mugs, plates, bowls, platters, etc. But sometimes you need to make a tiny sheep to keep you company in the studio. #ceramics #pottery
