Somali President Hassan Sheikh, who met with Prime Minister Hamse and officials from the Jubaland delegation in the past few hours, has outlined a completely different plan for Ahmed Madobe.

President Hassan Sheikh has held meetings with Prime Minister Hamse and officials from the Jubaland delegation in the past few hours. The meeting also discussed the establishment of a 'new Jubaland' based in the Gedo region, with an agreement that the delegation would be led by Prime Minister Hamse.

"The Party Program and the Points Discussed at the Kismayo Conference Regarding President Hassan Sheikh and Ahmed Madoobe.

The PDF government wanted Ahmed Madoobe to withdraw from the election, accept the same mosque and one-person-one-vote election at the regional level to be held in the near future, and also return to the National Consultative Council.

The government of President Hassan Sheikh now needs to implement its plan for one-person-one-vote elections in the Banadir, Hirshabelle, Galmudug, Southwest, North-East and Gedo regions, which it has influence over, but the opposition, Puntland, Jubaland and the Opposition Forum, which has formed a virtual council called the 'Somalia Future Council', opposes it.
