I've seen it as well. To be honest I think it's people who are apathetic to what's happening in games right now. Trust me no one within a recruiting department that actually is looking for talent shares that same sentiment.

I'm a Recruiter currently and it's always helped immensely in terms of targeting my LinekdIn searches for a certain role.

So badass, I'd say this was the first time I saw metal as on another platform I wasn't seeking out. For me I think the first real heavy music moment came from an Earache or Relapse VHS I rented from the local video store. I love stories like that.
