Damn. I give cash in the amount of one cleaning, plus a small gift and card. Also an independent person, not a service.

Dead right. None of my florid, turgid 15-year-old poetry survived, but teen me would have loved this prose. So many adjectives, so little meaning.

I wonder if his kids notice how he feels about their mother?

I’m not NatSec informed.

about this bad writing, though. Can a human make sentences this bad? Clauses attached to nothing, nonsensical word usage. Remember when translation programs came out, and you took a paragraph from English to French to German back to English for fun? Like that.

Eh, one guy’s “lost the roof over my children’s head” is another guy’s “Tradable Asset” in the Prediction Market.

Don’t agree? No prob: every difference of opinion is monetizable!

(Can someone please show me the way to the sane timeline?)

I’m forever yelling at the radio/tv/screen: ”Who is this ’We?’ because it’s not me!”

“We” is a fiction. At least go to a diner and interview someone. Lazy ass opinionators.

But what % of schools don’t teach phonics at all? I’ve been hearing *of* it for decades, in academic lit, but (to my knowledge) haven’t encountered anyone taught solely with whole language mthd.

I was a highly online mom. Math: I heard of all the methods of the 2010s 😆. Non-phonics: nope.

Still, my 25yo, who read voraciously between 8-15, lib arts college degree - & does not use AI!! - rarely reads books although he was an excellent researcher and writer. Covid-interrupted education (more than a year online college from home).

Sample size of 1, but not his education.

My children are 25 and 22 and they learned reading with phonics. I was basically a sight reader (learned at home before school age), but I also learned phonics in school. I believe some schools didn’t use phonics, but have never heard of it in the wild.

Can we extend that to drivers who ignore crosswalks and walk signals?
November 24, 2025 at 2:58 AM
exactly! Who repays people in Chicago and suburbs, charged with fake felonies? Eventually charges get dropped, but who repays them for the trauma, for the legal fees, the time away from work?

Same, except the birthing center was inside the hospital. Certified nurse midwives. Insurance covers it. I even used a birthing tub. Insurance would also have covered it all at home, and I knew women who did that, with medically trained professionals and 5 minutes from an ER.

Faith leaders like the ones arrested yesterday have been holding religious services at this facility for more than a decade. Ministering to the downtrodden IS their job, chucklefucks. Have some respect. (”mission from God” for real)

It is insane that “terrorizing children and kidnapping nannies and landscapers” is considered essential, but keeping planes from falling out of the sky is a “nice-to-have” for this regime

You guys have to follow a code of conduct. These untrained yahoos are unaccountable to anyone. And they’re mercenaries, paid by the head, which is why they leave the *real* criminals to you.

And you get nothing but teargassed. The bad guys here aren’t your neighbors. disappointing
