I enjoy photography first, birding is a side effect of my hobby. Most of my photographs are from the urban landscape of the Midwest United States, which goes to show if you give nature just a little breathing room, amazing things can happen.

We have a strong mix of red tail and Cooper hawks around here. I've seen red shoulder hawks before as well but is the odd exception. It seems the various species will carve out territory for themselves.
