I buy on bandcamp and vinyl locally as well so it all balances out, I think this onus on the consumer is poppycock, it’s their responsibility to change, if something better comes along I’m all for it but every ethical streaming startup fails

We’re in a time now where it’s impossibly hard for low income people to tour, labels generally won’t touch you if you don’t have the finances to front, so this is more about how the industry is digressing, we’ve lost the gatekeepers but the DIY process is more do it yourself if you have money
