He’s barely mentioned compared to the extent he exists in the files. It’s public knowledge he’s in there so they had to give something. They pulled the most heinous things indicating they were mistakes that got through. These are all just assumptions though

This is public blackmail. They’re letting people know they have dirt on them, in a very public way, so they don’t fall out of line. Means the cracks are forming, and this is the glue they think will hold it together. IMO anyway

Any reporter has the opportunity and every has the obligation, at this point and imo, to say “this admin told the American public straight up lies about the pretti killing. Why should we believe what you’re telling us now?”

While this is true, federal agents can petition to have their cases moved to federal court, where if they were successful (decent chance), trumps doj would shut the cases down immediately on arrival.
