I wish I liked this more than I did. I liked the concept, the puzzle aspect of it is great, but I feel like a lot of the Metroidvania aspects let it down, especially enemies and traversal. It actually just about feels more fitting to call it a "Zelda 2-like."

Minor annoyance in the game I’m playing: these two rooms are right beside each other, but the y position you come out on each screen is different. Each time you move between screens, it feels a little off-putting and bad

Despite being a Metroidvania fan, I've never actually beaten an actual Castlevania game before. I bounced off the first two GBA games for various reasons, but this one did it for me. Having played Bloodstained, it's easy to see its lineage now.

Hi boss… yeah, I can’t come in today. They put a Wild Zone in front of my apartment. No I can’t just run through it, there’s a pride of Pyroar on my doorstep! My neighbour went out for milk, and I heard like, 50 Earth Powers! It looks like a volcanic crater out there!

Thinking about the fact that one of the places you find Absol in PLZA is on the roof of this school. Is this Absol trying to protect the kids? Do the kids see it as an unofficial school mascot? Would they be said to find it gone one morning, captured by a tourist? Am I the real monster?
