So, I may have just seen the cover copy of what may or may not be a certain book. Rory Naismith wrote a blurb for it and I am astounded.

Earĺy medieval medicine people, anonymous knowledge folks, others: the first phase of our Handlist has just gone live! More will follow.
NEW from the Corpus of Early Medieval Latin Medicine... our handlist of the 198(!!!) pre-1000 manuscripts with medical texts not included in the standard catalogues.

It's been a productive first phase for the project... but a lot of work still to do!

Went to see the Tissington Well Dressings yesterday and they were fantastic! Also got to see loads of sheep, lamb, cattle, horses, goats, a few alpaca and heritage chicken. Lovely village!

Just got out of the cinema from seeing Flow. It is truly a unique and very special experience. Truly beautiful. I absolutely loved it and recommend it highly. It deserves to be seen and everyone should do themselves the kindness of viewing it. To top it off my ticket was all of £2.75!!!

I’m mid cleaning this up again after a small technical glitch and close to 2000 signatures from just UK academics! Would be great to get over that line before it’s published…
Heartened to see that close to 900 fellow academics and educators have already signed our letter in support of trans rights, trans wellbeing & trans inclusion, and against essentialist, anti-scientific, racialised & regressive views of womanhood. Please do read, share & sign! tinyurl.com/mud7va29

Well, at least this has the benefit of clarity. So let me be clear. Keir Starmer and the Labour Party are dead as a progressive force. They don’t care about working people, poor people, marginalised people, or human rights. What on earth are they for? www.bbc.com/news/article...
Keir Starmer does not believe trans women are women, No 10 says
The UK Supreme Court has ruled that the legal definition of a woman should be based on biological sex.

It’s not that hard to work out who are the real threats in this scenario. (Hint: it’s not trans people.)
Republicans in West Virginia passed a bill that would allow health care providers to “visually or physically examine a minor child” for the purpose of identifying their “biological sex” without the “consent of the child’s parent, guardian, or custodian.”
