I think if the whole world was run by Keanu Reeves, Levar Burton and Michael Sheen, everything would be great. Does anyone want to add someone else to the list? To be honest I'm not expecting to get any comments as Bluesky has been a bit of a void so far for me, but we'll see.

The so-called "supreme court" is a pile of cr*p. Forcing trans women and girls out of women's spaces is vile. Failing vulnerable people to satisfy the privileged. Shameful.

Not much left of this very special castle, but it can still look fantastic in the light of the setting sun.

It's a new low when your store card provider emails you to say you can earn extra points 'just by gaming on your phone'. No. No thank you. I'd rather eat olives (which I hate, by the way).

I feel like Wizard is inviting a caption competition with this pose. Maybe 'You didn't bring cat treats? The exit's that way.'

I hate AI. It's ridiculous the number of emails I get now from people trying to sell me web design, book reviews, book marketing etc. They all sound convincing and they're all (without exception) just trash. If I could destroy AI (or at least rein in the scope of its use) I would.

A cat doesn't understand clocks going back. Will take him a while to stop 6:30am shouting for breakfast/attention.

You know your eldest is a lighting designer when... You find yourself shouting at the TV for a quiz show contestant to 'stand in the bl**dy light'.

How weird is it to go to the town where you spent the early part of your life and to find your old home is for sale? Estate agents were very kind to give me a copy of the details despite my having no intention to buy it (although a big part of me wished I could).

AI is unnecessary, environmentally bad, and stupid. I Googled words ending in the letter 'a' today, forgetting to put -AI, and the AI overview gave me 11 words, only 5 of which even contained an 'a' and none of which ended with 'a'. For example, 'eyebrow'.

My brain is like my desk. And my desk is covered in scraps of paper with scribbled notes about important things, with the most important of them buried at the bottom of the pile. And a battery powered clock with no battery in it. And pens that are great but don't work. Oh dear 🙄

Ah, the change in the weather. I don't mind it, but my joints do 😕

Just had a bit of a moment when a TV quiz show threw into doubt an historical event/fact I've referred to in my upcoming novel. Luckily it turns out that I'm right (but using the quiz show's exact terminology they are, too). I was so confused about how I could have got it wrong. But (yay!) I didn't.

Weird Welsh language fact: Assuming my dictionary is correct, work (gwaith) is a masculine noun but job/post (swydd) is a feminine noun. And then my dictionary adds to the confusion by telling me that "I've got a job" is "Mae gwaith 'da fi". Excuse me while I go and sit in a dark room for a while.

It's like Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Last Wednesday was too hot to paint my fence, this Wednesday there's a chance of rain, apparently (def not too cold, but potentially too wet). Can I order a 'weather just right' day, please? If only...
