I try not to get too close to them or let them think i am feeding them but they are not really that mean. the babies just pretend to be tough. the skunks also don't think enough sometimes and will run into things or fall off my porch.

i love them too even if they make scary growling noises

That's so sad and terrifying. I'm super careful with the wildlife for that reason and all the other good reasons. I also make sure people I tell people so they are careful too

shots were not needed because the test on the bat came back negative. i did have a few talks with the folks at the county who actually got the bat from the vet and tested it. if we didn't catch the bat then i assume the county would have arranged shots for us but idk if insurance would cover it

oh yes... hopper (the cat i brought inside) caught a bat in the house (no idea how it got in or how she caught it) and i had to make an emergency trip to the vet 45 minutes away to have the bat tested and all 4 cats get shots

i don't seem to have pictures of them together but the cat is a gray tabby and iphotos thinks she is a raccoon. this is the raccoon though and it's super cute when it washes its little human hands

i finally upgraded my 4 year old iphone 13 pro max with a iphone 17 pro and my life is so much better with the smaller phone. i had constant little problems because the max was HUGE.

the raccoons and skunks will try to get the cat food/water i put out for the strays cats.

the skunks are demons and their babies will jump and pretend to charge you. they also growl

the raccoon is always sweet and was always nice or even playful with one stray that i managed to bring inside
