"What, like it's hard?" by Syd Lee was an interesting one. It tackled the issues of labor in a unique fashion.

This work was just beautiful to look at. It used a very interesting color palette. The gold and the blue went together brilliantly.

First off, I love chairs. I mean, who doesn't love to sit and stare, right? And this one particularly caught my eye with just how gorgeous it looked.

This piece was so soothing. This one is a bunch of mechanical flowers attached to the roof, and they move. I found the experience very interesting not just because of the piece itself.

I was fascinated by this piece and its use of technology to create an engaging work. It displays flowers on a screen. Sounds simple if taken at face value.

I found this mural very interesting. It is very intricate, but it has another cool visual effect.

This one is interesting. At surface level, it's just spray paint that is allowed to drip in all directions. But, it creates shapes that can be interpreted in different ways by different people.

This piece also caught my eye with its use of colors. I am usually fascinated by how the two ends of the color spectrum blend with each other, even when they are visually distinct.

This piece caught my eye with its colors and patterns, but reading the description only increased my intrigue.

This is one of the paintings from Steve Yazzie's "Meandered" collection. It is an oil painting on canvas that captures flora and fauna in an abstract manner.

This is one of the pieces from the "Thirst: Great Salt Lake" series by Fazal Sheik. These were taken when Sheik traveled to Utah. There, he was introduced to the elders of the Utah tribal coalition through the writer Terry Williams. They collaborated with Sheik to document the lake.

This sculpture is called Agni. In Hindu culture, Agni is the god of fire. He is also known as the protector of the south east, which is why pictures or statues of Agni can be found in southeast corners of Hindu temples. But Agni doesn't just represent a physical flame.

This is called Prophecy by Leang Seckon. This canvas highlights Cambodia's troubled past with the war. In the canvas, it shows them signing the peace treaty, signifying the end of the war, and above them, we see religious leaders shining over them.

This piece by Moyo is beautiful. It is an intricate painting with a very unique style. There are many pieces to this artwork that one look will not suffice.

At first, it just looks like regular tinted glass. But then, you notice the gradients on each one. On further inspection, the colors on each glass change when viewed from a different angle, which I thought was so cool.

This is an icicle mixed with earth melted onto a canvas. It is interesting to see the patterns that the canvas captures and how our minds interpret these in various ways, sort of like a Rorschach test.

I found this work by Leonardo Drew fascinating. It uses decaying wood and burnt branches with some acrylic to represent the passage of time. All the pieces fit together elegantly to portray this idea.

Where does "contemporary" end? When?
I think that there is no true end to contemporary as it is a definition. It probably ends when an entire culture or civilization goes extinct or somehow, everybody at once decided "Nah, imma do my own thing" and pull the plug on their own identity.
