I finally figured out why I can’t get over the air channels on my tv. Turns out I didn’t buy a tv but a high definition display. My TiVo was the tv tuner this whole time; it gave up the ghost after 15 years.

It’s my weekend and this is my weekend anthem. I had to get a new one since the singer of my last anthem turned out to be incredibly problematic.

While the birthday bookmark isn't the only reason I'm a member of the Friends of the Hennepin County Library, it does rank pretty high. They're my favorite bookmarks to use - yellow last year and green this year.

I’m skeptical of the book I’m reading. One of the characters went to the CIA and wants to be a chef and he just pulled a whole tomato out of the fridge.

I am on day three of my winter break and I made a homemade lunch and a homemade dinner. I cannot remember the last time I made a homemade meal that wasn’t a quick soup for lunch.

When I’d visit my grandma, I’d always think she was talking to me from the other room but she was talking to herself, having lived alone for a long time. It took me 21 years of living alone to start talking to myself. The difference is I don’t think my grandma did silly voices.

My sister and I were in Minnetonka again so we went to Crumbl. As we got our cookies, the employee says, “Nice to see you again.” Of course he remembered us because I was the weirdo who asked about closing at midnight and if they actually got customers then.

The man at Free Geek who took my tv to be recycled asked if it was my dad’s. Nope. I purchased it in December 2004 with a $50 Target gift card that I received as a holiday bonus at my first professional job.

Apparently the Crumbl Cookies at Westwind in Minnetonka does stay open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and they do get customers. I asked because it seemed untrue.

I didn't know I needed to hear it until the Microsoft tech support person chatted me, "Excellent, I really appreciate your effort, you're doing a good job." He also helped me resolve my issue so it was a win-win.

Shout out to the Girl Scout selling cookies outside The Kenwood. I glance at a package and she says, “Those are great with your morning coffee or a black tea.” I ended up with three boxes.
