If you have periods so painful that you CANNOT function, that you're doubled over, if it's debilitating, DO NOT let your doctor gaslight you into thinking that's normal
periods ARE uncomfortable, they can be mildly painful. they're NOT supposed to cause you extreme pain. STAND UP TO YOUR DOCTOR!!!

i have pcos, polycystic OVARIAN syndrome. it directly impacts my periods
BUT I've never had a period so painful i couldn't function
i do occasionally have problems with heavy flow but that's because i have a chronic disease that affects my periods (1)
