Not a monster, actually. Or at least not a very scary one. I'm Dutch but stuck in the US. He/him, usually.

I was gonna say who the fuck is Billy Binion. But if they write for Reason then I know enough.

There never can be too much Killing Joke on here. I might not even log off this app if it would be all Killing Joke on repeat.

I posted the same song at about same time. Which probably means I got the correct one. Or you did :)

It's other cars.

I actually do like driving itself, but cars are expensive and a hassle. And they keep people isolated and disconnected.

The reason I decided not to get a new license is that I would be tempted to drive. Cars don't mean freedom, they're a shackle.

But I get that they're a necessary evil in the US.

Yeah, definitely, that's also one of my favorites. And not the only Lethem one I love.

I only bothered to get my license in 2006 when I was 36, a year after I moved to the US. Only because my then wife didn't enjoy driving but we liked road trips and needed to go shopping.

After we split up I was pick-pocketed and I never bothered to get a new one. That was in 2009. I don't need one.

When I was staying in Sparks, for a little over a week, I was a block from the TA truck stop on 80, next to the Marina Park. I think there was a bus stop on or off McCarran, so I didn't find it very difficult or inconvenient to get around. But I get that it's harder in more distant parts of Sparks.

When I was in Reno and Sparks for about a month in 2014, I found the transit there good enough. And while things are far apart, I found walking around Reno quite pleasant. But maybe that's just me, I enjoy long walks, they're good for my mental health. I don't know a reason why I'd need a car there.
