California's Republican controlled seats are purple areas that were abandoned by Democrats. Already underrepresented. Now, instead of working to improve those areas and win those seats, Democrats want to rig them. "Let's see which party can disenfranchise more voters" is a horrible precedent.

Newsom's strong words aren't worth anything. Meanwhile, Californians are disappearing. We need leaders who are going to stand with the people and fight back, not just talk about it.
