70% of security workers say they’ve personally experienced discrimination at work. 82% have seen it happen. Most say it’s systemic in UK security, not “a few bad apples”.

The SIF Member Discrimination Survey (Nov 2025) lays it bare.

Due to the unethical transfer of security workers at the Wethersfield asylum housing unit to Clearsprings Ready Homes, 60+ experienced officers are now out of work. If you have vacancies and value military standards & professionalism, please email [email protected]

We've joined 14 other trade unions & campaign groups to call for an #EmploymentRightsBill 2.

🏁It's time to finish the job.

ERB2 would need a full ban on 'fire and rehire', enforceable by injunction.

Security workers need urgent support. They are spat on, kicked, punched, & abused for simply doing their job.
Words are meaningless without action. The use of our 24/7 counselling service has doubled. Opening up about mental health has resulted in loss of shifts, disciplinaries and client removals
