Average guy from UK. Been around abit though. Politics, rugby, comedy, science stuff. Warning - typo's likely. 🤘
I'm intrigued to learn which of reforms 'donors' has paid him to be there I'm sure to network or lobby for something or other.

I dint think they are driven by that. Just driven by ensuring they stay in powerful/profitable position by utilising quite basic psychological tactics on people.

I was under the impression that 70-75% of US national debt was domestically owned.

Remarkable -yet meaning often unknown by many listener- song.

I work in AE, correct much of it does indeed work well. Public have no real understanding of all the moving parts that do work seamlessly to meet even their basic expectations of the service.

He's still doing these vanity paid video message things?

Odd how folk like that don't get so vocal about how dystopian the US is when it comes to the retail(or insurance charged) price of drugs.

I've heard of this, I'm actually British but grew up in the Middle East. I knew quite a few Americans out there(often engineers linked to the oil industry) and remember a few of them mentioning it, some being weary that it existed in the local deserts.

I am intrigued to know how "science post" was defined.

Very simple because x is now awash with pseudoscience/antiscience grifting.

I'm no professional scientist but absolutely agree. I too read a few of his books when I was 12/13.

Luckily I was also introduced to thex book below around the same time by a family friend. I know which one I'll be getting my own kids to read.

I'm guessing one of them is an invasive species? Or I'd intuitively have to ask what the challenge is considering this hunter/prey situation has always occured, as part of the natural ecosystem ?

Strange how if anyone from the left every talks down any element of UK, they're usually branded some variation of "British self haters" by the right
January 8, 2026 at 11:50 AM
Odd.. a person with a CPS background to not have a basic grasp of the current criminal law/order landscape.
January 8, 2026 at 11:47 AM
It's not just Britain's. There's various research studies showing this to be the case.
January 8, 2026 at 11:46 AM
I wonder if touches upon his involvement in the flat earth movement of the day. 😏

I'd suggest it depends on whether the (potentially) pedantic point raised has any real bearing on the over point being made initially.

If no - it is.
If yes - it isn't.

I suspect images like this cause a lot of cognitive dissonance in a large % of right wing conservatives.

So which ones are they dropping?
January 6, 2026 at 1:54 PM
Wait for the backlash from the anti establishment dunning kruger crowd

I appreciate that wasn't a very clinical analysis of things - but many ppl outside the US basically consider the US is not really a socially, culturally, ethically or moral developed country anymore.
January 2, 2026 at 7:20 AM
It's hardly surprising is it. I'm & ftom the outside looking in the US has some really deeply ingrained issues with capitalism & greed which also incorporates a sub-culture of entirely intellectually dishonest blaggers, scammers, fraudsters, grifters from bottom to the highest level.
January 2, 2026 at 7:05 AM
This is a "surprise" move?
January 1, 2026 at 1:44 PM
Wait, what? We have radar monitoring bird movements? This I did not know!

If you swing 10-20% of that undecided middle ground - that's got to be worth it.
