In case anyone is wondering, the answer is no. Data centres in space cannot work with current technology. It is so many times cheaper and easier to continue building data centres on the ground and to fix the issues they have with water and energy use. This is just an excuse to move money around.

You’re not delusional at all. We cancelled our plans to travel to the US and I don’t know anyone in my friend/family group who have any plans to go there in the future, which isn’t normal. Usually I’d know at least one going there.

If you want to go to Disney, go to Paris

I suspect I had a lot more fun reading your review of this movie than you had watching it 😂

I haven't seen Bridgerton yet (I know!) but Starfleet Academy and Future Man are great, You've got a lot of good watching ahead of you.

And anyone caught on the street after hours will have to have their papers handy to prove they're over age

Very on-brand for the govt to shy away from the hard work of holding platforms to account. I'm sure the added ability to track the activity of all verified of-age users in social spaces is an unspoken bonus for those TDs who will balk at the idea that this tool will be misused by them or anyone else

I do try to be a good person. I try and have enough empathy to see things from other people’s perspectives. However… I am struggling to have any sympathy for her whatsoever. She’s living in the world she helped to create.

Met Éireann can never win. Either their warnings are too cautious or not cautious enough. And the Minister should know meteorology is a science that relies on maths. The floods are tragic but the councils cheaped out on flood defences for decades. Why isn't the anger pointed there?

Ooooh, my go-to is chicken, ham, green peppers, red onion, and sweetcorn. I've heard some Americans object to sweetcorn on pizza which i find funny considering how much corn is in everything in the states but I love it

But I'm also partial to just straight up pepperoni and cheese.
