I don't even want this for editing, I just want to find my own videos that are relevant to particular situations. Eg I met a guy today who showed me a photo of his brother, who passed away recently but used to beg with his cat. I know I've met them before... but which video was it?

Yeah I use lower res/bitrate Prores proxies. GPU can natively decode h.264 and the CPU handles the Prores encoding, so I can transcode at like 400fps, which is fairly convenient.

Huh, the CEO worked for Avid for a few years (I used to use their video file format, recently switched to Apple Prores), and we've got a few professional mutuals back in San Francisco. Supposedly can be as low as $50 (£37) a month.

Are we at the point with AI where I can install something and have it analyze my videos and then find specific events or places when I ask it? Or is it still just deepfake nudes and lying?
