100% tbh yeag, I’m fortunately pretty at ease about it in this stage but it really can’t be said enough how wonderful it feels when folks comment on the stuff I work on! Someone did it the other day and man oh man does it make all that work feel worth it.
I don’t think ppl understand the whole “who cares if nobody likes it! make content for yourself” is extremely dismissive
Bc we ARE making the content for ourselves but it feels /bad/ when people don’t engage or show interest. You can care about both at the same time

It doesn’t fit him well, or at all. The gas mask doesn’t keep, the MOPP is bulky and the sickly sweet smell of sweat mixing with the char makes for an awful sense that the man in front of you doesn’t belong here. He’s out there, he’s in it, or he’s passing through. And he’s smiling.

Connecting to a Folly machine is the equivalent of attempting to parse an audio jack into the input and output at once, it can be done, but all you’ll hear is your own feedback. Merged consciousnesses cannot effectively understand the bilateral structure of the underlying neural mesh.
