For me, the thing that knocked the wind out of me with this election is that I dared to believe America would get it right THIS time, that America was ready for a Woman President.

It hurt having that blind faith in neighbors, friends, and strangers smacked out of me.

Dammit, America. 😞

Two weeks later and I still struggle face to face contact with individuals I know voted against joy, hope and inclusion. So many people showed how little they care about others.
