So this doesn't necessarily need fundamental changes in the amount of funding but the model probably needs changed.

The total amounts of courses taken / credits required for a degree doesn't change. The number of students starting and finishing each year would be the same as well.
(Sure a bit more flexibility may be required as the number of students taken XyZ 301 in a given semester may vary)

mussten die nicht erst selber rausfinden. Und wie man dann (vor Bologna und weniger verschult) Semester organisiert, etc etc.
Alles keine grossen Sachen, aber ich denke schon dass man Uni anders erlebt wenn man Nicht- oder Akademikerkind ist

Ich war vor 25 Jahren etwas in der Studienvertretung. Wir hatten da Beratungsstunden zu denen mehr als einmal Leute mit Elternteil erschienen.
Manchen ist eben sehr gelegen dass aus dem Kind auch mal "was wird".
Extremfall klar, aber dass Immatrikulation die Anmeldung zur Uni ist, und dass man
