I think we witnessed the same in Russia. Business publications like RBC and Kommersant have to pull their punches and do not directly criticize the Kremlin, but they have not gone off the deep end like most other media that remains in the country. Business requires a modicum of reliability.

ASTRA Telegram channel reports the Orlov was killed by law enforcement who were attempting to effect an arrest pursuant to an investigation into arms trafficking which saw other Espaniola fighters arrested. Would seem to make Orlov an unlikely candidate for high State honors, but in 2025 Russia….
