Vegan hotdog for lunch yesterday. The vegan sausages are well seasoned. It didn't have the snap of a typical mystery meat hot dog but it was serviceable nonetheless. Would cook with the sausages again. Might make bangers and mash with them next.

One of my favourite snacks as a kid, and even to this day, is 陳皮梅 chénpíméi, preserved prunes with tangerine peel. Definitely one of the reasons for my childhood nicknames, 老人精 "Old Person Spirit" and Little ông già (Vietnamese for old man) 😂

Finally got around to trying out Tibet Stove at the Freo Markets. I got their Beef Momos (Steamed dumplings) and their cold Laphing (Hand-cut noodles in spicy savoury soup). Got medium spicy, perfect level, slight sweat and pleasant mouth tingle but I wasn't suffering. 😛

This is prettiest fancy MSG packaging I've ever seen.
