+ Marigold towards the shop that she had indicated, weapon drawn. She hadn't imagined her father's insistence that she learn how to use a gun would come in handy so often, though she supposed he knew something like this would happen eventually.

"Alright, if you're sure..."

Heather wasn't a stranger to these kinds of situations, though she usually faced them alone. The idea of someone getting hurt because of her, that all of this was her fault, was far more chilling to her than the fog itself.

She hops off of the saddle and follows +

+ there was no doubt. That same creeping sensation told her that this was the same fog of the Other World.

Her hand slipped from Marigold's hip to reach for her weapon.

"We've gotta be careful! If this fog is what I think it is, there's some really bad stuff hiding out there..!"

"Eep!"

Heather, on the other hand, was holding on for dear life, the bumpy ride threatening to buck the inexperienced young girl off if she didn't keep her grip.

This was a lot more sustained excitement than her usual quiet, creepy navigating of the town's fog. Even still, as the fog enveloped +

+ settling into the saddle and holding on to the other woman's waist so she wouldn't fall off. At least she had an ally, and for once, it wasn't some creepy old dude.

"Where are we going?" She asked, "Are there others in town?"

Heather had probably guessed that this was the case, she just hadn't wanted to believe it. No time to freak out or panic, though. If she was still technically in Silent Hill, or at least being influenced by it, she'd have to find a way out.

She took Marigold's hand and let her pull her up, +

+ was in that hellish amusement park back home, though a carousel probably didn't count for much. "Do you not have, like, a car? What's with all the old timey stuff?"

This was all going over Heather's head a little. She looked back to where Marigold had indicated, squinting to see the mass of grey on the horizon. No luck in escaping the supernatural, she supposed.

"Uh, no," she responded as she nervously inched closer to the horse. The most experience she'd had+

"Heather," she replied, feeling underdressed without a hat to tip. She was still reeling from the realisation she had travelled somehow from Maine all the way to Louisiana that she almost didn't catch the last part of what Marigold had said.

"Sorry, what's going on? What do you mean, used to be?"

+ stranger's clothes, and thought how odd it was that she would have a waterskin, rather than just a bottle.

"What, is there a ren faire going on around here?" She said aloud. That was supposed to be an inside thought.

"O... Orleans?" She repeated, squinting in disbelief, "like, do you mean... -New- Orleans? Or France?"

Both were bad. One was maybe slightly worse. Either way, she was a long way from home.

She gratefully took the waterskin and had a big swig before handing it back. It was then she noted the +

"Where am I..?" She asked slowly, while wiping the dirt off of her skirt and jacket. She was glad to still feel the outline of her gun pressed against her side.

Heather blinked in confusion, wiping the sleep from her eyes with the back of her hand. She was fairly certain she hadn't fallen asleep in a hole in the ground, but now here she was, looking up at the stranger’s outstretched hand.

She reached up and took it cautiously and got to her feet.
