Thank you Luis!
I still get nervous approaching people and asking but it's getting a little easier as I go :)

"How do we rephrase the living experience. In English we're always putting the subject first, "I will do this, I will do that". In the sanskrit presentation the object is placed first, "there I will go" or "this I will do". I sometimes wonder about that in relationship to the spiritual experience."

there no algorithm for this. a database+html+js can't substitute for the human need for mutual sharing of stories

a truly humane platform has to acknowledge its inherent deficiency here, and recognise that the most personal experience it can create is bring people together 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥

I'm truly impressed with Refrakt in terms of UX, style, building in public

if you're looking to foster a truly personal community, keep an eye to how you can connect people in the real, build that into the core of the project and you'll be inspiring people far more than the richest feed of content

𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 + 𝘱𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 = 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺
ie. no longer entirely personal

any online community, photographically focused or otherwise, that tries to skeuomorphically mimic the personal without actually being grounded in the incomparable fidelity of the meeting of minds is chasing a very real irony

𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭:
of or concerning one's private life, relationships, and emotions rather than matters connected with one's public self

so it bears remembering that a personal experience begins in private, and while it can be enriched through some amount of mutuality, it will be diffused by publicity

a stream of consciousness, bear with me

you're reckoning, in effect, with the realms of the personal and the public

a century of assault from marketers invoking the cosy connotations of the word "personal" to sell everything from vacuums to package holidays, has robbed much of its meaning

In a similar vein, I have a javascript bookmarklet aliased to 'e' in the address bar that copies the local path for any page (TOML in my case) to the clipboard which makes going from proofing in the browser (live or dev site) to editing in vim seamlessly. Plus a cli alias "sn {term}" akin to yours,
