I think the wording is clunky, that's true - would it be worth speaking to the author as it could be improved with "sex or perceived sex" because hate definitely doesn't check your chromosomes.

There already is an offence under the Hate Crime (Scotland) Act protecting trans people. The new bill is closing the gap that the act left open.
I know it feels like an attack, but in this case I agree the bill needs to be there because sex isn't protected from hate crime at present.

I remember watching The Comedians which was basically a bunch of dated white men saying vaguely prejudiced things to camera, apart from Kenny Lynch, who was black and had to say vaguely racist jokes in order to be accepted. They all played golf together, led by Tarby. Excruciating.

I find getting up at some unearthly early hour triggers my ADHD "get this finished at all costs". Obviously the crash means a big afternoon nap, but hey, sacrifices.

I definitely struggle with anything associated with Jimmy Page, no doubt when you do a Stairway episode this will come up. I think supporting survivors has made this very personal for me, but you are right, it's a band effort
