My area never used to be like that. I find it depressing. I also find the lack of manners depressing. The rudeness is astonishing

We saw the likes of Johnson and Cameron playing fast and loose with the truth regularly. It would be nothing new if he did too

For clarity, I've lived in both for 50 years, on and off, and seen attitudes change recently as more southerners have moved in. Which part of the country inflicted Thatcher, Cameron, Johnson etc al on the rest of us?

They don't think much of the Scots if they think they'll be bought by a bit of tartan. I have noticed, though, that many southern English are moving to both Scotland and the north of England. Is that affecting political attitudes in those areas? Are they bringing their politics?
