I have a 5th gen Mini and it's probably the best item feel in the hand Apple makes, especially walking around. Really makes me wish Apple made a foldable.

If you use it for taking notes too, it's surprisingly a good deal for $329 (+$70-90 for pencil)

Did anyone read the article to the end? This is as private as the on-device visual indexing iOS already did for subjects like “cat” “dog” “baby” etc.
Apple cannot mine this data, and they can’t give it to anyone else. They never see unencrypted features or who made the request.
