Skipped a lot of my thoughts BUT I'm in book 4 and the thing with the ring just happened and eventhough it literally only lasted 3 pages I was SHOOKETH!!

At this point I went to tumblr and asked wtf everyone liked about this series and the internet said it gets better so I kept reading... and Book 2+ (current 1/3 in the third book) are so much better already!!

The plot is plotting! I am excited to pick up the book & that is rly all that matters :)

OK I had completely utterly forgotten how clockwork princess ends/ that tessa turns into Ithuriel and just makes Jelly of the bad guy?? WHAT

ALSO I am so so angry at Will for being a premium jerk to Tessa towards the end if clockwork angel. I know whyyyy but like GRRRRRRR 😡 "arrangements" my ass

Already had to kill a lot of centaurs but they are half man half horse so I only 50% wanted to do it

I am still sure the idea is good. Maybe execution could have been better, for sure marketing could have been more effective but then again it is just me.

I am not fully sure why it failed. But it gives me clarity on where to put my focus in 2025.
