If word continues spreading to skip court dates, we could see NYC really wake up to defend neighbors. The Canal St raid-turned-flop that saw a rattled ICE team eagerly shooed back to 26 Federal Plaza by enraged New Yorkers was a great example of the brimming rage the city is waiting to unleash.

We are in an extraordinary moment for the fight for trans lives and greater gender freedom for all.
