I’ve not used Portra 160 before (mostly because of cost), and I don’t generally like doing sunset/sunrise photos. But I’m astonished at how well the Portra has dealt with the early morning light here #believeinfilm

2 x 120, 2 x 35 mm from a trip away to develop. This morning's dilemma was whether to bother making up the new C-41 kit that just arrived, or to use what was left of my old kit (which should still have been good). I made the wrong decision. 2x 120 blank. 🙁. New kit for the 35 mm. #believeinfilm

I can’t go near horses because of an allergy, but I think they are magnificent creatures and I am fascinated by photos of them. These are some of the best I’ve seen for ages. Spectacularly beautiful!
From my Horse series. I worked with these horses for over a year before I photographed them. This is Toby - a very nervous horse that I worked closely with in order for him to gain my trust - all photos are taken in a field & close up - I am lying on the floor next to him. It was freezing rain.

I’ve never bothered much with pushing film before but quite like the results with HP5+ pushed to 1600 iso.
