Always nice to see Reed actually bonding with his kids over science stuff in modern books but Jesus Christ, if my dad had done something like this with his body in front of me, I wouldn't talk to him for a week.

Phenomenal art in today's issue of G.I. Joe, the way they use harsh shadows inside Road Pig's house is just gorgeous. That and the way they're going with Cobra Commander's characterization makes it such a shame this is the Energon universe book I see most folks sleeping on.

Shotgunned the last six episodes of Boukenger, Fine show. Not breaking into my top five Sentais but I had a good time, way better then it's Western counterpart.

Didn't have any problems with the first suit tbh, but i do like the little tweaks they've made here.

Yeah, that's about what I expected. Looks real good, would love to have one when they're all out and on sale. I do admire the commitment to showing the naked frame on the box even if it does look like he just ate too much for turkey day.

Toys are good, by the way, in case you hadn't heard.

Blaster & Eject, now in proper cartoon colors long after they should have been due to originally being in kingdom and using too much clear plastic and then being an exclusive back when most exclusives were still next to impossible to find in store.

Love that they gave this dude a name rhymes with bonk, coz he gonna bonk ya with that hammer. Don't love that you can't lift up the face plate on the helmet, but it was earlier in the line so I still give it a pass. Great figure tbh.

This Barbarian is legendary, primarily for being able to stand in for whatever name brand Barbarian you want (but you didn't hear that from anyone at Four Horsemen). You knew I would make him Conan, it was always gonna happen.

Gotta be in the top five funniest things I've ever seen on a co worker's desk.

"SS86 Bee was the biggest shelf warmer so far this decade, the obvious solution is not to take all the ones we already made and just ad cel shading for the minority that wants that, but to make an entirely new mold to clog up the pegs!"

Last figure for tonight is a real trooper, takes me right back to the days of wasting hours watching for those wrist rockets on my PS2, very neat.

Holy crap, the upper body and neck articulation on this figure is so much better then the Padawan version of her. Ankles are a tad limited but she's still way more fun to mess with, just wish the design was more interesting.
December 2, 2025 at 3:48 AM
Padawan Ahsoka, though she never really became a knight so that designation doesn't really work for this figure, but Black series ain't the kinda line to put "seasons 4-6" on the box. It is still my favorite version of her character design though.

Not loving this thing as much as everyone else seemed to at the time. It's neat, but I've had a lot better TFs of this size.

Finally got around to installing the @nonnef.com Windblade kit, very nice improvement especially with the sword, that part feels like it actually came from a Hasbro factory.
December 2, 2025 at 2:24 AM
Black Series Anakhin, he's an actual character edition. Lot of little nit picks with this guy tbh, but he does fit the bill well enough that I don't hate him. Just wish they'd tried a little more.

Nice to have this figure again after having to sell him when I was between jobs a while back, I'd forgotten how poseable it is.

Some funny little freaks I picked at Retro Toy Con this year. We love the neat little bots in this home, simple bois that are fun to just absently mess with like stress toys.
December 2, 2025 at 12:15 AM
Alright, ya guy would like to be able to post a top Ten at at the end of the year with the full confidence that he's experienced everything he could have. So we're gonna bust through this friggin to open pile I've been ignoring for the last while.

Had to walk over to the office but it looks like my one and only black Friday sales purchase is ok.

Reread the new Green Arrow coz it's good and couldn't help but notice that Lian basically spends the whole issue aura farming lamo
