One of the (many, many) things that doesn't sit well with me about being told to "just leave" is that it is often very difficult for people with disabilities to immigrate to other countries. With ME/CFS, it can also be dangerous and risky to enter a new health system. It's not a simple matter.

As a massive pedant who loathes openly criticising others, I wish there was a way to anonymously flag spelling and grammar errors in Substack posts (and elsewhere on the internet). There are writers I would subscribe to, if that's what it took, in order to copy edit their work.
