One of Poseidon's gen goals is to have one unrequited love. I expanded this to mean that he is bad at love. He started to fall for Ryleigh, but she was not interested. Then he fell for Jacque despite all of the red flags. He trusts easily and falls quickly which has and will get him into trouble.

That's all for this update! 🫣 The truth is finally out! It's so exciting when I get to share the character's secrets, even when they are devastating secrets. I have a lot to say about Pos and Jacque so I will save it for another post. Meanwhile, here's a sneak peak:

After a few minutes, Ryleigh pulled back.
R: "It sounds like it's almost midnight. Let's go ring in the New Year."
She got up and started walking to the door, but Poseidon did not follow.

When Poseidon gets home, he can't bring himself to go inside. His family is celebrating in there and he doesn't want to face their questions. Collapsing onto the porch, he is left to just feel the emptiness and regret, wishing he could just sink into the ground.
