I think auto-assign being the default option will only encourage surface-level engagement with the bracket system for many users, going against the spirit of it.

I get it must've been a lot of work to make a feature like that, but it would be best if users were prompted to rate their decks first.

actually i did see a lot of cat/dog stuff that people liked

i think a photo of abba and honda w/ matching stickers could do some numbers; people also liked buying stuff that looked like their pets so some recolors would be easy content

ofc fotm anime and game characters were popular as well

i saw a ton of mihoyo stuff at otakon iirc

a lot of people sold out of homemade gatchas that had the stickers/keychains of the characters in them
